In their places, every single time, a faceless, generic, steel and glass box replaces whatever was there before. Inevitably, these are all condos or apartments that are way beyond the means of the average Angeleno. The city, like the county and the state, is run by democrats. They are getting rich, as are their elitist supporters, from the building boom, while the homeless population gets worse because of law that THEY passed, Laws that prevent the law from placing any consequences on theft, drug use, vagrancy and al l of the other things that both feed, and are a product of homelessness. These scumbags are getting rich while the state has turned into garbage and now they want to permanently remove the pinnacle of the American Dream, home ownership, from the California landscape. But somehow the total morons, the idiots, the mental children who keep voting these people in - would still blame CA's problems on Republicans.
