I remember the Crown Heights riots well. It was spurred by race hustlers like Al Sharpton who used a lie to manufacture an attack on the entire Jewish community, in which one young Jews was murdered. The New York Times, then as now, along with all of the mainstream media, portrayed it as another example of “both sides” causing a problem which they knew was originated by blacks and spread by Jew hating blacks that wanted to cause as much mayhem as possible. But, then as now, you can’t tell the truth without being branded as a “racist” - and the antisemites bad racists use that totally to their advantage.
