Howard Hesseman, the hard rocking DJ on 'WKRP in Cincinnati,' dies at 81

Actor Howard Hesseman, best known as the hard-rocking disc jockey Dr. Johnny Fever on the sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati" has died, according to his manager, Robbie Kass.

I loved WKRP In Cincinnati as a kid, and Dr. Johnny Fever was a major reason why. I thought that he was incredibly cool. He was the epitome of the laid back, 70s rocker type DJ. Kind of like a cool version of the actual DJs on places like KMET and KLOS.
