Hotel owner sues Holiday Inn Express company claiming “unlawful, abusive and fraudulent” practices

Contrary to what some people may think, Patel says small businesses owners like himself are often the ones who own and run these famous brand hotels.

IHG also devalues their loyalty points program for guests as well. This makes it inconvenient if not impossible to use the points for anything other than a basic room and only when "available". Thier claim of "No Blackout Dates" is a lie. Some hotels just refuse to let customers book rooms using points, period. Can't blame them since they get shortchanged by IHG in the process.
