Once again Trump comes through with another bad deal where he is surrendering to a terrorist organization. Reading this joke of a "deal" Israel literally gets nothing. Israel very specifically DID NOT agree to phase 2 of Trump's Gaza plan and only agreed to phase 1 to get the hostages back. You will note in reading the full text here that Hamas is not forbidden from playing a role in Gaza and the arms they are giving up get stored by a group made up of Palestinians, Egyptians, Turks, and Qataris. So in other words their friends/allies are holding onto their weapons. There is no provision for the weapons being destroyed so there is literally nothing preventing Hamas from getting back those weapons down the road. BTW this exact type of peace deal was done with Gaza in 2005 and look how that turned out.
