The Jews Who Never Left the Land of Israel

For 2,000 years, while Jews scattered across the globe, a small group never left the Land of Israel. Almost no one has heard of them.

One of the most infuriatingly wrong, and commonly believed, lie about our history is that somehow the Jews left the Land of Israel for millenia, and only started to return (depending on the version of this fable) that the Jews only began to return when the Zionist movement began in the late 19th century, or in 1948. The latter is particularly stupid given that the population of Israel at it's founding in 1948, was forced to fight, and miraculously won, a war against the surrounding Arabs. Which is why the thing possibly herad most often from all antisemites is "Why do you think you have a right to the land after not being there for thousands of years?" I hear it myself almost every day. So it is crucial that we know the real history of Jews in the land - which is an unbroken chain from the conquest if Joshua in the Bible, until this very moment. We never left, and just as crucially - the only nations that were sovereign in the land, and there were three, have all been Jewish. This is history we all need to be teaching people.
