The fight against 'fake meat' has officially begun

The U.S. Cattlemen’s Association has filed a petition to narrow the definition of "beef" and "meat."

Calling it 'clean meat' doesn't give the cultured 'meat' people the moral high ground. They are trying to infer that actual animal flesh is somehow 'dirty' in comparison.

There is meat ( the flesh of animals, harvested from animals ), cultured or manufactured meat ( flesh NOT harvested from a live animal ) and plant-based meat-substitutes.

The cattlemen have a valid argument.
