Lt. Governor makes proposal to increase school security

Lt. Gov. Randy McNally sent Gov. Bill Lee a two-page letter outlining plans to increase school security in the wake of the shooting at The Covenant School.

His ideas sound well thought out and doable to me. The Democrat crowd being critical and pushing more gun control seems insincere and using the event for political purposes only. Lieutenant governor seems to sincerely want to protect the kids. Laws only work when they are enforced. There were laws on the books that might have prevented this tragedy had they been enforced.
