Judaism, not ancient Greece, is foundational to the moral greatness of the West.
Of course he envy our Judaism. Non-Jews almost never acknowledge that Judaism IS the foundation of Western civilization. It’s hard for many people to hear, and even harder for them to fully accept. But it’s very demonstrably true. Not Greek society, not Christianity, not Rome: Judaism. Obviously, non-Jewish societies like America have elements of the other nations. But, they are not, at all, in any way, foundational.
