People will actually begin to believe that history is whatever they see in these things. Worse, it teaches that truth and facts do not matter. It is revolting. It is also promising for the actors and actresses cast only because of their skin color.

Horrifyingly, antisemitism has become a moral obligation for liberals.

I wish that I was remotely as good a writer as Melanie Phillips is. She is correct here, the left absolutely has Jewish blood on its hands. The right does too, but at this point, they still have a lesser share of blame. We have to put politics aside and be honest about this, or this will just get worse. Unity is as crucial as ever for the Jewish community - but this is a period where we have very little room for error. As I've written before, this isn't late 20th Century America where we as Jews were deluded into believing that the world might have changed. This is the world of our grandparents - and every other Jewish generation.

This is why I’ve always respected Mark Levin. And I’ll point out, that I realized that Tucker Carlson was an antisemite literally years before other people caught on. Other conservatives used to argue with me about this passionately. He is scum. It has been obvious, or should have been to everyone else, for years. Mark Levin is the opposite, he is a man of integrity. He is passionately pro-Jewish, understands the political world better than most people, and sincerely defends his positions (intellectually). I don’t always agree, but I know that any position he takes will be consistently intellectually honest. Rare today in politics. I applaud him for this, and this is not the first time he has publicly taken a position opposing the administration, even though he vehemently supports it. That is integrity.

I love these old signs. Many years ago, before everyone had a camera on their phone, I wanted to put together a coffee table book about old neon signs. That was in the '90s. It is very sad to watch the rapidity with which these signs are disappearing. It was/is an endemic part of Americana. Worse, their replacements are the boring, generic, sameness of the typical 21st century roadside experience, which has replaced style with monotony. Not just hotel signs either, but all signage. Have you seen Las Vegas lately? It looks a lot more like any other new urban environment than Las Vegas. It's just another symbol of the current American desire to replace individualism with conformity.
