Bono: 'We wanted to help Eagles of Death Metal after Bataclan - so we bought them new phones'

Bono has discussed U2's experiences in Paris during last month's terror attacks in a new interview with the New York Times. The band had been due to play in the French capital the night after the attacks, in which 130 people were killed, including 89 at the Bataclan concert venue where Eagles of Death Metal had been playing.
